Hahndorf's Chocolates
In
1967 Manfred and Erica Kolberg arrived in Australia from Bavaria in Germany,
where Manfred had learnt the great German traditions of chocolate making.
The
Kolbergs initially worked for MacRobertson's chocolates in
Melbourne, but were soon lured to the country lifestyle and
moved to Coleraine - just outside Hamilton in Western Victoria.
Since
1986 the Kolbergs have been making exclusive traditional
German handmade truffles and creams for wineries, lavender
farms and specialty outlets in Melbourne and regional
centres.
They
have won numerous prizes for excellence, including Gold Medals
from the Royal Melbourne Show.
The
excellence of Hahndorf's Chocolates reflects the aspiration of FiESTA to
use only highest quality, Australian made products.
